Application:

Less than 0.5W/kVAR when measured at the connecting terminal (including discharge resistor). About 0.2 W/kVAR dielectric losses.

Discharging after Disconnection:
In accordance with the National Electric Code (NFPA 70, Article 460), Canadian Electric Code (C22.2 No. 190-M1985) and IEC 60831, all Frako capacitors have integrated discharge resistors that guarantee terminal voltage will discharge to 50V or less within one minute after the capacitor is disconnected from the power source.
